A Place Rich in History and Tradition
Located in the heart of our mountains, our hotel is steeped in history and tradition. Housed in a building dating back to the early 1700s and originally owned by the Tavoschi family, Albergo alle Alpi has its roots in a fascinating past. As early as 1702, the inn began welcoming travelers from across Europe, and by the late 19th century, it had officially become a hotel.
Throughout the 20th century, the property changed hands several times, but its commitment to hospitality remained unchanged. Today, it stands as the only hotel still open among the five that once existed in the village. In 2010, it was honored with the Silver Plaque as a “Historic Establishment of Friuli Venezia Giulia.“

Our in-house restaurant serves traditional dishes, while the hotel bar, complete with a souvenir corner and a well-stocked library, is the ideal spot to unwind after a day of adventures. The services we offer are designed to ensure a pleasant and rejuvenating stay, seamlessly combining the allure of the past with the needs of today’s travelers.
Oh, and one more thing… We love cats, and you’ll notice it in every corner of the hotel! From figurines to paintings and murals, feline friends are represented everywhere. Perhaps one day we’ll share the story behind this unique collection.
